Forest Floor No. 2

“Forest Floor No. 2″ is a hand printed Art Quilt. Finished size: 26″ x 33.5”. Inspired by the magnificent forests of Northern Ontario, Canada. The fabrics were painted with Colour Vie pigments to represent the shifting lights and shadows of an early Summer day. I screen printed the enlarged pine needle with gold pigment. Pieced and quilted on a long-arm machine.

First exhibited with Connections Fibre Artists at Wellington County Museum, Ontario, Canada, and at the 2018 International Art Quilt Exhibition in Beijing and Shenzhen, China.
